Nassau Bar Association Installs New President, Gregory S. Lisi

Gregory S. Lisi, a partner at Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP, was installed as the 119th president of the Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA) on June 1 and will serve a one-year term. President-elect Rosalia Baiamonte, Vice President Sanford Strenger, Treasurer Daniel W. Russo, and Secretary James P. Joseph were also installed as officers.

“I am so proud to be the current leader of this wonderful organization, which represents the attorneys of Nassau County, as well as supports the general public with many of their legal concerns,” Lisi said. “It also expands my ability to assist my clients with their legal issues,” he added.

Lisi, a lifelong Oceanside resident, is the chair of Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP’s employment and labor practice group. He has been selected to New York Metro Super Lawyers lists in the employment and labor category and was selected by his peers for inclusion in the 27th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the litigation – labor and employment law category.

In addition to serving as a member of the NCBA’s executive board and labor and employment law committee, Lisi is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA) and is a champion of Access to Justice initiatives.

Lisi earned his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is admitted in New York, the District of Columbia, the Supreme Court of the United States of America, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
