Whisky enthusiasts, here’s an event for you: Whisky brand Ardbeg is rolling through Long Island from Sept. 1 to 3 as part of its national Monsters of Smoke Tour.

Ardbeg has been traveling the country since April via two oversized, all-terrain monster trucks to give whisky lovers a taste of its award-winning smoky, single malt Scotch whiskeys. The team will stop in Port Washington, Valley Stream, and Lynbrook during the first three days of September on a monster truck named An Oa.

“We can’t wait to welcome guests to experience Ardbeg whisky alongside these incredible vehicles,” said Ardbeg USA Vice President Allison Varone.

These pop-up events at local liquor stores will deliver experience tastings, giveaways, augmented reality photo opportunities, and other surprises for participants, who must be 21 years or older. Guests will get to try Ardbeg’s wee beastie and an oa whiskeys.

“Ardbeggians already familiar with our smoky drams are sure to enjoy greeting these Monsters of Smoke Trucks in their own cities, and those who are new to the brand will surely be impressed with our style,” said Dr. Bill Lumsden, Ardbeg’s director of whisky creation.

Arbeg has been named “Distillery of the Year” at the International Whisky Competition for the past three years. The brand has a total of six different whiskeys.
