After marching through the Village of Port Jefferson, the 25th Annual Charles Dickens Festival concluded with a gathering of village dignitaries, street performers, carolers, and festival attendees to witness the much-celebrated lighting of the official Village Christmas Tree.

The balcony in front of Village Hall became the ending ceremony stage that featured the presentation of the Dickens Honoree award and special thanks to the hundreds of individuals whose efforts made the 25th Charles Dickens Festival possible.

From there the countdown commenced culminating with the lighting of the tree.

The Port Jefferson Charles Dickens Festival is produced by the Greater Port Jefferson-Northern Brookhaven Arts Council in cooperation with the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson.
