Port Jefferson Woman Cuffed for Pushing Woman to Her Death in NYC — via amNY
26-year-old Laura Pazienza was arrested for allegedly causing the death of 87-year-old Barbara Gustern.
According to police, at 8:25 p.m. on March 10 Gustern was in the vicinity of West 28th Street and 8th Avenue when she was allegedly approached by Pazienza from behind. Pazienza then allegedly pushed Gustern, causing Gustern to fall and hit her head, before fleeing the scene.

LIRR Electricians Union Threatens Work Stoppage Over Employee Suspension
Ronald Dolginko, a long time electrician for the Long Island Rail Road, was suspended without pay for six months in December 2021 for what he claims was a false-positive drug test for marijuana. In response, IBEW Local 589, the union representing LIRR’s electricians, has threatened a work stoppage after several attempts to reverse the penalty.
