Blue Angels to Return for 2022 Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach

The U.S Navy Blue Angels will join the Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach after a four-year hiatus from performing at the event.

Bethpage Federal Credit Union and the New York State Parks Department announced the lineup on Wednesday for the 18th annual air show to take place May 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jones Beach.

The Rolling Stones Ballad “Memory Motel” Inspired by Band’s 1975 Trip to Montauk

In the spring of 1975, the Stones caroused at the motel, to the dismay of its owners. According to MontaukLife.com, the owners were not big fans of the chart-topping celebrities. Undeterred, the 30-something rockers were intrigued by the place’s name — the Memory Motel — and they’d get all liquored up, shoot pool, brawl a bit, and play the piano until the wee hours of the morning, when they’d return to the nearby estate they had rented.
