Available for adoption through Tender Loving Cats

Avalon
Avalon

What a fun package of playful and sweet Avalon is! She has a coat of many colors; there’s tabby and calico in there, and patches of orange to increase her beauty. Maybe one day she’ll grow into her cute large ears! Avalon enjoys being petted and will ask for attention. She absolutely loves to play with you or alone, so lots of toys would be great for her. She enjoys running after her toys, and a cat tree would be a great treat for her. She is a unique looking sweet cat who is looking for the perfect home! To adopt Avalon, complete an adoption application here: tenderlovingcats.org/adoption-application.html or to schedule a meeting at Petsmart, West Babylon, 535 Montauk Hwy., email [email protected].

Available for adoption at the Smithtown Animal Shelter

Dexy

At just under a year old, Dexy was found as a stray along with her kittens, and in her short time in the animal shelter, she has already won everyone’s hearts. She has the most stunning eyes, and she loves meeting new friends and getting affection whenever she can. Dexy is the ultimate sweetheart who deserves a happily furrever after. Dexy would do well in any home, including a family with children.

Rabbits

Katniss, Mags, and Rue are a set of Rex Mix rabbit sisters who were left abandoned to fend for themselves in Blydenburgh Park. Parks employees rescued them and brought them to the animal shelter unharmed. They’re not sure how old these sweet ladies are or where their previous home was. Mags and Rue are very close and tend to stick together, while Katniss can be more independent. They are all spayed and ready for a loving family that will never let them down again. The Town of Smithtown Animal Shelter is not equipped to safely house animals other than dogs and cats long term. However, if an animal is in danger and needs housing temporarily until another rescue has room, they do their best to provide safe shelter. While the animal waits for space to open in another rescue, it will be available for adoption through the adoption center.

Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America

Midnight Star
Midnight Star

Tiny momma Midnight Star (Adoption#BF3976) lost some of her luster when she was tending to her kittens in Animal League America’s Nursery. Lucky for this 1-year-old, she cares for her babies in the safe indoors. She’s becoming accustomed to this more reliable lifestyle, and with a little gentle purrsuasion, she’ll soon be enjoying all the perks of being unencumbered by motherly responsibilities and will bring joy to your household as she discovers how to be a kitten herself again. To help this mini-house-panther settle into life as part of a family, she’s looking for a calm home (with kids over age 10) that will provide her the predictability she’s grown to appreciate. In no time, Midnight Star will be glowing with all the love and gratitude she can offer as thanks for providing her a loving home.

Bambino
Bambino

Looking for someone to have a good time with? Bambino (Adoption #PR00088) is the life of the party! He’s been entertaining everyone since he arrived here from Puerto Rico. Nine-month-old Bambino doesn’t appreciate the company of other pets, but he sure does love the attention of humans. This little whirlwind has a ton of energy to burn off which would make him best cared for by a feline-experienced family (with children 8 and above) who can help harness his exuberance in a positive way. He’s ready to turn your life upside down with a blink of an eye. If you’re looking for a solo entertaining soulmate, look no further than Bambino!

Marley
Marley

**Senior Alert** Marley’s (Adoption #R112512) expressive eyes are searching for an ally to help in her pursuit of a new home after recently losing her life-long residence. This tenderhearted 14-year-old tabby is melting hearts with those eyes and has even been seeking solace in her roommates—an unusual sight to see from a cat who lived her entire life without cat companionship. Marley’s remarkable ability to open herself up to new possibilities at her age has everyone completely smitten. She’s an ideal choice for any family, especially one looking for a companion for their senior at home. You’ll be a hero when you choose Marley as your new best friend, but you’ll know before long, Marley will be your hero, too.

Avalanche
Avalanche

Three-month-old Avalanche (Adoption #H211523) is excited to make a big impression on you, and Animal League America knows you’re going to fall hard for this adorable tuxedo! Locally rescued along with his siblings, Avalanche would love to befriend your cats at home, making him an adorable choice for a family looking to add to their clowder!

Monchiko
Monchiko

Animal League America has been taking great care of 3-month-old Monchiko (Adoption #H211524) since she arrived from her local rescue, and she’s paying us back with appreciative head bumps. She’ll be bumping her way to your heart in no time. Children (over age 6) will enjoy making this shy kitten feel special as part of their family.
