Jennifer Lawrence Filming New Movie, No Hard Feelings, on Long Island

Actress Jennifer Lawrence has been spotted at several locations on Long Island as she films an upcoming comedy, No Hard Feelings. The film is set in Montauk, but is being filmed further west, in Nassau County.

While some may have raised an eyebrow at the prospect of a Jeff Beck and Johnny Depp musical collaboration, it’s safe to say any lingering doubt was erased the moment the guitar legend was joined onstage by the film icon and co-founder of rock supergroup The Hollywood Vampires at The Paramount in Huntington on Oct. 14 and 15. The duo is touring in support of the recently released album 18 following a successful summer run in Europe, culminating in an appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival.

A 13-year-old student at Copiague Middle School was arrested early Monday morning for allegedly making a shooting threat over social media, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

“There’s a lot to do in Port Washington. Whatever people are interested in we probably have it here,” executive director of the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce Bobbie Polay tells us, adding that its shining feature has to be the waterfront. “We’re surrounded by Manhasset Bay on one side, Hempstead Harbor on the other, and Long Island Sound. It’s just a beautiful and relaxing place to be.”
