Special Requests from the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter

Bahama
Bahama

At 12-years-old Bahama is a senior guy who lost his home when his family lost their home. Bahama may have a short span ahead of him, but wouldn’t it be wonderful for it to be in a home. Bahama spent his whole life as an unneutered male and he was used as a stud dog so living with another dog in a home could be challenging. Bahama is a sweet boy and he has lots of love to offer… and then even more love to offer. Bahama walks nicely on a leash and he does get tired easily especially on warmer days.

Squid
Squid

And meet Squid. This handsome fella arrived at the shelter in August but is very stressed there. Squid is a lover who is working to control his assertive ways. He would benefit from a home with structure that defines clear rules and boundaries. He loves having his belly rubbed and he becomes mesmerized with the attention. Squid wants to please and given the opportunity; he will try very hard. Squid is a natural at staying close by and waiting for your next move so that he can accompany you. Squid is dog friendly and being recommended for kids 12+ no cats.

For more information about saving Bahama or Squid, please call the shelter at 631-643-9270.
