Dine-LI is having their 4th Small Business Market on Feb. 11, 2023 at the Samanea Mall in Westbury. This event is benefiting both Beyond The Badge NY & Fires and Drums Foundation.
The event will feature over 100 vendors mainly food vendors and unique craft/small businesses. Tickets are $10 online and $15 at the door. Tickets can be bought using the link https://linktr.ee/dineli.
Dine-LI is a Facebook group that helps bring together the love of food, restaurants, community, and charity, and has helped countless restaurants and small businesses during these difficult times and want to help even more.
The Fires & Drums Foundation was created to honor William Tolley who died while fighting a fire in Brooklyn. William left behind a wife and a 9-year-old daughter. The foundation provides support to the families of fallen First Responders and Military members who suffer a tragedy as our family has. It also provides direct financial support to these families to help cover costs and provide immediate relief to help alleviate any hardships as a result of their loss.
Beyond the Badge NY is a local nonprofit that raises suicide and mental health awareness within law enforcement. The mission is to reduce the growing epidemic of suicides by breaking the stigma surrounding officer’s coming forward for mental health treatment. The organization provides support to not only officers in need of assistance, but also to the children and families of officers who died by suicide. It also offers numerous workshops, seminars, scholarships as well as events and initiatives throughout the year.
100% of event proceeds will be going to these charities.
