The Fr. William A. Daly Council #2122 of the Knights of Columbus is delighted to announce the return of the Free Throw Championship on Saturday, February 24, 2024. The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is an annual tournament sponsored for boys and girls ages 9 to 14 in the local area. The winners will advance through local, district, regional, and state competitions.
The event is free. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. for registration in the Immaculata Hall Gymnasium of St. Mary’s Middle School, located at 1300 Northern Boulevard, Manhasset. The competition will begin promptly at 9:30 AM. The participants will be asked to shoot 25 consecutive free throws, and the tournament winners will proceed to the County Championships in March.
All participants will compete in their respective age divisions. Parental/guardian permission is required for this competition. This year’s event is co-sponsored by the Knights of Columbus #1227 Port Washington Council. For more information, please send a message to fskofc2122@gmail.com.
