Mariann Dalimonte has served on the Town of North Hempstead Board as Councilperson since January 2020 and is a fourth generation Port Washington resident. Her love of the community has been reflected in her passionate engagement with local organizations. What started as a simple decision to leave her career to focus on raising her three children grew into full-time involvement in the community. Dalimonte’s tireless work to improve the quality of education in Port Washington began with volunteering on numerous committees at her children’s nursery and elementary schools. She eventually rose to serve as President of the John Philip Sousa Elementary School H.S.A., President of the Carrie Palmer Middle School H.S.A. and Vice President of Communications for Paul D. Schreiber High School.

Dalimonte’s service evolved to also include key roles in important organizations that achieved significant successes for the community and its residents. More importantly, she built a reputation for bringing people together. Dalimonte was previously the Executive Director of the Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District and Director of Development for Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington (now Residents Forward). She served as treasurer of the Pride in Port Committee and upon being elected she sat on the boards of the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce, Port Washington Senior Citizens Center and as an Advisory Board Member of The Ed. Foundation. She also volunteered her time in numerous other civic efforts.

Dalimonte was a recipient of the 2012 Port Washington Chamber of Commerce Appreciation Award, the 2017 Town of North Hempstead Woman’s Roll of Honor and was selected as the 2018 Pride in Port Community Honoree. Dalimonte earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from LaRoche University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Founded in Flushing, NY in 1989, KISS Beauty Products is a global leader in professional quality beauty products and treatments, with iconic brands sold in over 100 countries worldwide.
Empowering beauty enthusiasts to “Bring the Salon Home” is the KISS WAY since day one–when Mr. John Chang went to work inventing DIY beauty products that lengthened, strengthened and adorned women’s nails, with results worthy of a salon visit (and saved them time, effort and money).

In 2005 the company moved to a large facility in Port Washington to accommodate the company’s continuing expansion and growth. Then in 2014 KISS IVY division moved to a newly-built headquarters building in Port Washington, which contains a 60,000 square foot state-of-the art warehouse. In 2018, KISS moved the company to a new global headquarters. The magnificent, ultra-modern, 272,000-square foot business complex in Port Washington includes an on-site state of the art Research and Development Center and LEEDS certified warehouse.

KISS Products believes strongly in giving back to the Port Washington community through their partnerships with local organizations like Residents Forward. As a partner KISS has sponsored community events and beautification efforts including the revitalization of the gardens in Blumenfeld Family Park on Main Street and the Annual Main Street Planter Program.
