Victoria Schneps and Angela Anton took the opportunity to reconnect with Nassau County leaders to discuss important local projects and pressing issues concerning the region.

Victoria’s experience in community news began with one paper, The Queens Courier, which she founded in 1985, before building a company with 100 papers. As the founder of Life’s WORC, a nonprofit organization that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism, Victoria knows about the power of the press.

With the combined dedication to supporting the local community, Victoria and Angela look forward to a new future for the Anton Media papers.

The luncheon allowed the Anton reporters from the Port Washington News, Manhasset Press, Great Neck Record, Roslyn News, Glen Cove/Oyster Bay Record Pilot, Syosset-Jericho Tribune, the Nassau Illustrated News and the Nassau Observer to cement their relationships with community leaders.

From listening and discussing upcoming projects and critical issues, the Anton reporters are focused on providing the Nassau communities with more breaking news, stories featuring local arts and cultural events, and more.
