The Nicholas Center (TNC) is pleased to announce that Robert J. Valli, Jr. has joined the Board of Directors. Mr. Valli is a partner at Valli, Kane and Vagnini, LLP, a law firm focusing on employment rights. Robert and his wife Jill are parents to Rob, who attends The Nicholas Center. The Valli family will be honored at the annual Night in White Gala on Thursday, July 25th for their support of The Nicholas Center and the autism community. The Valli family is an integral part of The Nicholas Center family and their presence can be felt in all efforts undertaken by the organization. In a moving presentation at Speak: Neurodiversity in 2023, Mr. Valli shared his family’s personal experience with autism and encouraged others to share their stories. Robert’s son, Rob, an active member of The Nicholas Center and co-host of the TNC Podcast, Agents of Humanity, recently interviewed his father on the program.
Mr. Valli practices in the areas of employment discrimination, False Claims Act litigation and Wage and Hour litigation, handling hundreds of cases for thousands of clients during his twenty-seven years as a litigator. He is a graduate of St. John’s University and St. John’s University School of Law and was a recipient of the 2017 Long Island Business Leadership Award for Employment Attorneys. He has appeared as a legal commentator in the media and lectures for organizations including the Federal Bar Association. TNC is proud to welcome him to the Board of Directors.
The Nicholas Center has revolutionized the way autistic adults learn, live and work offering vocational training, supported employment, meaningful community-based projects and a safe place to foster vital peer connections.
