The rescued animals were transported by Animal League America’s mobile unit and rescued in conjunction with long-time partner National Mill Dog Rescue. North Shore Animal League America says the animals will be examined by their veterinarian team and pet behavior staff. They will be given time to acclimate and receive any required medical or dental care.

These dogs come from various breeds, including shih-tzus, Havanese, mini-Aussies, French bulldogs, yorkies, a variety of doodle mixes, and many others of varying ages and sizes.
