Colin Bell is a dedicated public administrator with 20 years of experience creating jobs, strengthening local economies, and securing over $100 million in funding for workforce development and community improvements.
A lifelong resident of Sea Cliff, Colin lives with his wife, Bridget, and their two daughters, Hannah and Paige. He holds a master’s degree in public administration from C.W. Post University and has spent his career helping Nassau County residents find good-paying jobs, supporting small businesses, and improving local infrastructure.
2. Why I’m Running for Nassau County Legislator
I’m running for Nassau County Legislator to bring my experience in job creation, economic growth, and government funding to the entire county.
Over the past two decades, I’ve led initiatives that helped hundreds of residents find meaningful work, secured millions in federal and state funding to revitalize downtowns, rebuild after disasters, and invest in critical infrastructure. I want to use that same experience to protect Nassau families’ finances, keep our communities safe, and ensure our quality of life remains strong.

Protecting Your Wallet
I will oppose all attempts to increase your property taxes and force the county spending to go on a diet. We must manage county spending responsibly so Nassau families can keep more of what they earn.
Fighting Crime
Public safety is my priority. I support law enforcement and community programs that reduce crime and keep our neighborhoods safe. New York City is entering a dangerous moment in time under Zohran Mamdami. We must be vigilant and increase our law enforcement resources to protect Nassau families.
Protecting Our Quality of Life
From clean water and parks to responsible development, I will safeguard Nassau County’s natural resources—including Hempstead Harbor—while supporting smart infrastructure and environmental initiatives that benefit residents, businesses, and future generations.
