The Roslyn community gathered Monday, Dec. 1, for the annual holiday lighting at the Roslyn Clock Tower, organized by the Roslyn Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Roslyn.

Lou Federico, vice president of events for the Roslyn Chamber, served as emcee. Rabbi David Bockman and Cantor Ofer Barnoy of Temple Beth Sholom led Hanukkah prayers and songs, and Father Geoffrey of St. Mary’s Church offered a holiday blessing. The church choir then performed Christmas songs, accompanied by Cantor Barnoy on guitar and Rabbi Bockman on trumpet.

Town of North Hempstead Clerk Ragini Srivastava also joined the festivities.
Afterward, attendees were invited to walk up the street to Delicacies Gourmet for hot chocolate and desserts from Diane’s Bakery and Meat Maven.
