A 4-year-old boy drowned in a pool in the backyard of his Bay Shore home on Monday afternoon.
Suffolk County police said Adrian Schrone was found unresponsive in a semi-inground pool at his home on Prospect Place at 1:15 p.m.
Adults in the home attempted CPR and then took him to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide Squad detectives are continuing the investigation.
