Welcome to Brooklyn– Home of the “Russian Dolls.”

Lifetime network welcomes the newest East Coast reality stars, destined to steal “Jersey Shore’s” limelight.

“News flash people,” starts one cast member, “We’re in America,” adds another. In the opening trailer of the new reality show, viewers are allowed inside a close-knit group of friends. The reality series follows eight “larger-than-life” men and women who live in Brooklyn’s historic Russian-American neighborhood, Brighton Beach.

Apparently, there are a lot of similarities to our favorite Jersey stars from fist fights to hook ups to bronzed beauties.

The series contains 12 half-hour episodes and is produced by Left/Right and executive produced by Banks Tarver and Ken Druckerman of “Mob Wives,” and Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy and Colleen Conway of Lifetime Television, with Elina Miller, Alina Dizik and Edward Simpson co-executive producing.

According to AOL, “Russian Dolls” debuts Thursday, Aug. 11 at 10:30 p.m.
