Metta World Peace, also known as Ron Artest, was the first celebrity kicked off of this season’s “Dancing With The Stars.”

“Not my cup of tea,” one judge said following his Monday night cha cha performance. Another judge said,” You do have power and you do have presence.”

Unfortunately, he won’t have a presence anymore as he was the first celebrity to get the boot Tuesday night during eliminations.

“It’s fun, I learned a lot. I had a blast and I want to learn more. I have never been a dancer but I really was trying. I looked bad at first but I got better and better and I started to go home and enjoy it,” said Artest after the elimination.

According to Global Grind, Artest had promised to donate his earnings from the show to the Cancer Research Foundation in honor of his daughter, Diamond, 8. Diamond overcame cancer at four-years-old and was Artest’s inspiration for joining the dance show.

Monday night, he and partner, Petra scored lowest with 15 on the premiere episode of  the 13th season of the hit ABC show.

As we previously reported, the night welcomed new faces and a whole new look. The show received a massive summer make-over, one that cost a reported $3 million. As far as new faces, the night welcomed Nancy Grace, Ron Artest, Rob Kardashian, Kristin Cavallari, Chynna Phillips, David Arquette, Elisabetta Canalis, Hope Solo, Carson Kressley, J.R.
