Sarah Palin ‘SNL’ Video Goes Viral

Picture 22

Picture 22Sarah Palin’s biopic “Game Change” aired on HBO last night and Palin had some comments to make about it.

Palin made a return to “SNL” Saturday night but not in the form of Tina Fey but Andy Samberg.

Seth Meyers welcomed the red suit-wearing Alaskan onto the set of the “Weekend Update” where she sat down and addressed the audience in the best way she (or he) knew how.

“Howdy there Seth, don’t you know,” said Palin. “It’s good to be back on ‘SNL’.”

“Remember me everyone, I’m from Alaska,” she added.

“It seems like just yesterday I was running for president” Palin said to which Meyers corrected, “You mean vice president.” Palin laughed it off and said, “Oh, you know me I don’t remember stuff so good.”

Midway through the sit down, Samberg jumped out of character to dispute is impersonation. Meyers, not impressed with his Palin performance, noted that Tina (Fey) was supposed to “do this,” to which Samberg gives “she got sick” as an excuse.

Samberg confidently adds, “Don’t worry, I’m filling in and I’m killing it,” and jumps back into character, eagerly commenting on the new “Game Change” movie by cracking a joke, “I dont’t know Alaska,” she says “Like Alaska where I’m from don’t you know.”

Samberg goes on to further embarrass himself with his poor performance, uttering “You can see my house from Russia,” and her famous catchphrase, or more like Bill Clinton’s “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.”

Meyers whispers to Samberg in a fit of frustration, criticizing his Palin character to which Samberg pleads, “Come on Seth just let me do this,” and “Dude you’re my friend just let me do it.”

“Fine, go ahead,” says Meyers as he gives up and Seth goes back into Palin character to share another corny joke from “Down in Alaska.”

“What’s the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull?” asks Palin. “One of them is a human and the other one is a dog.”

“I’m Sarah Palin and I love snow, going rogue and I got ya,” she says before signing off.

Check out the performance. What do you think of it?
