Even though Zoe Saldana’s relationship with sexiest man of the year Bradley Cooper recently ended, she still has kids on the brain.

During an interview on Lifetime called “The Conversation,” Zoe talks about ex Brad Coops and former fiancé Keith Britton.

“For years [Britton] wasn’t ready [for kids]. Then when he got ready, I didn’t have time. I never held anything off because I was waiting for something to kick in. I don’t think that far about tomorrow,” Saldana said. “I felt the urge to want to have a baby, and I wanted to, but I remember that respecting his decision, and making the decision to wait with him, was one of the most mature things.”

Saldana does not regret waiting to have children.

“I chose to wait, and I’m glad I did. I’m glad that I respected him,” she explained. The couple was together for eleven years before calling it quits.

After Saldana reached new levels of celebrity for her starring role in 2009’s Avatar, she announced she and Britton were engaged. Not everyone was sure if the two would actually go through with the marriage.

“She likes to keep her personal life to herself and wants people to focus on her as an actress,” an anonymous source told UsMagazine.

A year after the couple was engaged, the two called in quits, stating the split was mutual. They did not give any other details. She started seeing sexiest man Brad Cooper soon after.

Though she is currently single, her desire to have children has not subsided.

“I love the anxiety, the pressure of the loud room full of yapping kids,” she said. “But I’m a kid myself. I get along very well with animals and children. I dig them; I get them. They make perfect sense to me. A child speaks more sense than an adult half of the time.”

Saldana does not even care how many children she has. When asked how many she wanted she exclaimed, “Two or three … or four or five! I don’t care. They’re just so delicious.”
