Anchor: A Whale of a Show

The N.Y. Bee Gees
This groovy night of full-on disco fever featuring The New York Bee Gees will be sure to get the crowd dancing the double-bump. They’ll bring the music, you bring the moves! Can you dig it? Memorial Day Weekend Show on the Green
This art festival turns the Montauk Village Green into an outdoor gallery of exquisite original, handmade art by artisans from across America and overseas. Through their extraordinary vision, talent and skills the artisans weave a tapestry of art from remarkable creations in painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, glass and ceramics to mixed media, woodworking and more. Raid New York
This Marine and Navy Helicopter Landing is a part of the Fleet Week 2017 activities in New York City. The U.S. Navy Parachute Team, the Leap Frogs will perform an aerial parachute demonstration showcasing the skills of the Naval Special Warfare Team at 10 a.m. Then the CH-53 Sea Stallion, MV-22 Osprey and AH-1W Cobras will perform an area sweep and transport a Marine Raid Force to the landing zone at 12:30 p.m. Eisenhower Park, Hempstead Tpke., East Meadow. nassaucountyny.gov/parks Free. 10 a.m. May 27.

Memorial Day Fireworks Extravaganza

Colin Quinn
The star of the critically acclaimed one-man show on Broadway “Long Story Short,” the off-Broadway hit “Unconstitutional” and the upcoming one-man show “The New York Story” is bringing his act to Long Island. Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in service of the United States of America. This annual celebration offers a look at the region’s past, culminating with the village’s commemoration of Decoration Day, as it was observed in the early years of this holiday. Disaster! The Musical
What begins as a night of disco fever on a floating casino quickly changes to panic as the ship succumbs to multiple disasters, such as earthquakes, tidal waves and infernos.
