DIRTY TACO AND TEQUILA

Tacos and tequila. What more could you want? How about those two things with a waterfront view?

With unique dishes such as kung pao dumplings, Asian-style nachos, Korean short rib tacos, Mexi cannoli, and a variety of vegetarian and vegan options such as the vegan chorizo taco, there is something to please everyone.

Even though there are six other locations across the island, this waterfront Asian-Mexican fusion restaurant is new to Port Washington. With live music on the weekends and a “dirty” beach shack bar, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a summer (or any) night on Long Island.

THE SOCIAL BAR & PIZZA

Instantly be transported to the streets of Italy as you walk up to the outdoor pizza window of the newly opened Social Bar & Pizza in Patchogue.

Some of the available slices are Guido’s NY style, featuring tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil and extra virgin olive oil, and the microdose, featuring a creamy garlic sauce, mozzarella, caramelized onions, arugula, mushrooms, Parmigiano Reggiano, and a balsamic glaze drizzle.

There is a counter at the window to sit at while customers eat their pizza, with Italian music playing overhead to really set the scene. The Social Bar & Pizza also has a restaurant that opens at 5 p.m., which displays a red Vespa above the bar.
