Grossé served Bethpage for 24 years, with the last eight years as President and CEO. During his tenure Bethpage has grown to $13 billion dollars in assets. In that time, he was responsible for establishing Bethpage’s shared service operations in Maryland and Denver and oversaw two significant mergers, one of which expanded Bethpage’s ability to serve members nationwide.

“We offer our thanks to Wayne for his 24 years of significant contributions that led to our success to date and set us up for the future.  We wish him well on his retirement,” stated Vincent Scicchitano, Chairman.

Armyn has been with Bethpage for 22 years, most recently as Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, and has played an integral role in the organization’s strategic growth, enhanced corporate brand, and comprehensive community engagement program known as Bethpage Cares. She will serve as the 5th President and CEO and the first female to hold this position.

“The Board identified Linda two years ago as the potential successor as part of our long-term leadership plan,” stated Vincent Scicchitano, Chairman. “Linda is a dynamic strategic leader well known throughout Long Island and the Credit Union Industry for her commitment to our 440,000 members, 800 employees, and the communities we serve.”

Bethpage Federal Credit Union, which began on Long Island more than 80 years ago to serve Grumman employees, is now the largest credit union in the Northeast and the 15th largest in the nation.

“I spent the last 22 years, along with my teammates, focused on making Bethpage a great place to work and bank. Our financial health remains strong, and I look forward to continuing our work with the Board, Senior Management, and all our teammates to live our vision to enrich the lives of our teammates, members, and the communities we serve,” said Armyn.  “I am grateful and humbled, to be appointed President and CEO of an organization I love being a part of.”

Armyn joined Bethpage in 2001, leading Corporate Strategy, Business and Community Development, Charitable Giving, Marketing, Communications, Public and Government Relations. She grew the Bethpage at Work program with companies throughout the tri-state area and spearheaded two significant mergers. Linda also enhanced Bethpage’s brand through strategic sponsorships such as the annual Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach, naming rights at the LI Ducks stadium (from 2010-2020) and establishing the Bethpage Ride bike sharing program. She established the annual Bethpage Turkey Drive which supports Island Harvest and its network of food pantries providing Thanksgiving meals to food-insecure Long Islanders.  She is excited to lead the organization into the future.

Linda serves as the Co-Chair of the Long Island Regional Economic Development Council, a member of the NYS Parks Commission on Long Island, and Stony Brook University President’s Council.  She serves on several local boards and national trade committees.   She has been honored by numerous organizations for her corporate leadership and Bethpage’s community engagement.
