There was a rumor going around for months that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were no longer dating. This latest story proves otherwise.
Justin planned a romantic night for his girlfriend by shutting down Staples Center for the entire night on Friday for dinner and a movie.
He hinted earlier on Twitter that he had something planned by writing: “Romance isnt dead treat your lady right fellas. #REAL”
The major date was inspired by a scene in the Adam Sandler flick “Mr. Deeds,” in which Sandler’s character surprises his love interest, played by Winona Ryder, with a date for two at Madison Square Garden. Bieber decided to take Gomez to a Demi Lovato concert first at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. When the concert was over, Justin surprised her with a table for two set on the floor of the arena at the Staples Center. The table had candles on it and the lights of the stadium had been dimmed for a romantic effect.
Justin and Selena walked through the underground tunnel that connects the Nokia Theater to the Staples Center. The dinner of steak and pasta was catered by the fancy restaurant in Staples Center known as The Lexus Club. After the couple finished eating Gomez was surprised once again when the film, “Titanic” showed up on the screen.
According to witnesses, “Selena was “shocked” over her BF’s thoughtful gesture.”
