The New York Giants defeated the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday (if you didn’t know by now), and they are now in the playoffs for the first time in three years. But if they’re going to pull enough another magical run similar to the 07-08 season when they won the Super Bowl, the Giants will have to survive a gauntlet of great teams infused with impressive offenses.

The Giants were noticeably confident following Sunday night’s victory that gave them the NFC East title, and some players even referenced their Super Bowl run that included three road victories before finishing off the undefeated Patriots.

One immediate difference this year is that the Giants will be hosting a playoff game when the Atlanta Falcons come to MetLife Stadium for a 1 p.m. date with the Giants on Sunday.

With Eli Manning playing the best football of his career and the Giants defensive line coming alive again, the team feels they have a chance to surprise some people.

But first they have to win on Sunday.

Here’s the postseason schedule for the Wild Card Round staring with Saturday’s games:

Cincinnati vs. Houston – 4:30 p.m. on NBC

Detroit vs. New Orleans – 8 p.m. on NBC

Sunday:

Atlanta vs. New York Giants – 1 p.m. on Fox

Pittsburgh vs. Denver – 4:30 p.m. on CBS
