The sophomore season of Game of Thrones is right around the corner—the second season of the hit HBO show is set to premiere April 1—and fans have been treated to teasers and trailers for the past few months.

The newest trailer was just released February 24 and may be the best yet.

“The cold winter’s rising, storms come and go the big fish eat the little fish. Sometimes the ones with the most power have the least grace,” says the narrator as a shot of Jon Snow looking out into the distance flashes across the screen.

The second season appears to bring a whole lot of warfare, with almost everyone at odds.  In the new two-minute trailer, nearly every character makes a quick appearance.

One scene shows Tyrion referring to the king, Joffrey, as a lost cause as Jon Snow experiences a mysterious creature beyond The Wall. Snow’s brother wonders about a comet in one scene, which is described as a result of dragons, while Princess Daenerys vows to bring dragon fire upon all of her enemies.

“The time to strike is now, the Starks fight the Lannisters and the Barathians fight each other,” says Daenerys Targaryen.

Back in January, a trailer for the new season was released. In that trailer, Varys offered up a grim reality, “Three great men, a king, a priest and a rich man, between them stands a common swordsman. Each great man bids the swordman to kill the other two.”

“Who lives? Who dies? Power resides where men believe it resides. It’s a trick, a shadow on the wall,” he says. ”A very small man can cast a very large shadow.”

Excitement for the coming season has been building over previous months. Back in December, a Game Of Thrones Season 2 teaser was released in which Stannis Baratheon, brother of the late King Robert who died last season in a hunting accident, narrated.

“My brother left no true-born heirs by right of birth and blood,” Stannis says in the teaser. “I do this day lay claim to the island throne of Westeros that all true men declare their loyalty. The iron throne is mine by right.”

“They will bend the knee or I will destroy them,” he says.

Fans got their first glimpse of Season 2 back in September when HBO released a sneak peak during an episode of Boardwalk Empire. The sneak peak only featured spoken dialogue and an image of a ring of fire.” The night is dark and full of terrors,” the narrator warns.

The hit HBO show is based on the George R.R. Martin book series, A Song of Ice and Fire and readers may already have an idea of what’s to come from reading A Clash of Kings.

Check out the new trailer that went viral February 24, and has since collected over 400,000 views.
