Picture 191Hit HBO show “Game Of Thrones” has been releasing teasers and trailers over the past few months, amping up excitement for the coming season.

The sophomore season of the show will air Sunday, April 1 at 9 p.m. EST, with fan favorite characters returning to television.

This week, a new trailer named “The More You Love,” was released with Arya Star, Cersei Lannister, and Daenerys Targaryen returning to hint at what’s to come.

“I wish you were free to follow your heart, but you have inherited your father’s responsibilities,” Catelyn Stark tells her son Robb in one scene as they prepare for battle. “They come at a cost.”

In another scene Sansa Stark admits, “My father was a trator,”  looks to her king and husband-to-be and says, “I am loyal to my beloved, Joeffrey.”

Sister, Arya Stark makes an appearance in the new trailer, giving a grim warning, “Anyone can be killed.”

Daenerys Targaryen is on a hunt to take back her family’s throne,  “I’ll take what is mine, with fire and blood,” she says.

Cersei Lannister, the Queen, offers up the last remark before the trailer’s close, “The more people you are, the weaker you are,” she says.

In earlier weeks, an official Game Of Thrones Season 2 poster was released. “War Is Coming,” reads the official poster.

And just before that, a new trailer was released.

“The cold winter’s rising, storms come and go the big fish eat the little fish. Sometimes the ones with the most power have the least grace,” says the narrator.

In the new two-minute trailer, it appears almost everyone is at odds. Most surprising in the trailer, is Stannis Baratheon’s return. The brother of the late King Robert who died last season in a hunting accident, reveals plans to take the throne.

“My brother left no true-born heirs by right of birth and blood,” Stannis said in a previous trailer. “I do this day lay claim to the island throne of Westeros that all true men declare their loyalty. The iron throne is mine by right.”

“They will bend the knee or I will destroy them,” he warned.

Back in September, fans got their first glimpse of the coming season when HBO released a sneak peak during “Boardwalk Empire.”
