Bohemia Woman Dies After House Fire

A 71-year-old woman who was rescued from a Bohemia house fire last week has died.

Suffolk County police said Nancy Fives died at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore the day after she was critically injured early Friday morning when her Middleton Road apartment caught fire.

Homicide Squad and Arson Section detectives are continuing the investigation. The cause does not appear to be criminal, police said.

Bohemia Fire Department firefighters extinguished the flames.
