Police Investigate Body Found in Roosevelt By Rashed Mian Posted on March 16, 2013 Nassau County police are investigating the discovery of a body in Roosevelt on Thursday, a police spokeswoman said. The body was recovered at 8 p.m. in the east end of Frederick Avenue, the spokeswoman said. The body has been removed to the medical examiner’s office, police said. The spokeswoman called the case an “active investigation” and was unable to say whether police recovered the body of a male or female.
