Science Students Win With Medication Dispenser

Eighth graders Selena Rodriguez, Bianca Marinelli and Korey Magnus, members of the second place team, designed a device to dispense medication. By creating a lever that pulls out one tablet at a time, the group brainstormed a project that ensures that a person cannot dispense more than one pill. Each student who won second place will receive a $500 savings bond.

Each year students in New York State participate in the prestigious eCYBERMISSION Competition sponsored by the United States Army. In the eCYBERMISSION Competition, students are challenged to brainstorm an invention and test their creations.
