The Farmingdale Dalers defeated the East Meadow Jets last Friday night at Don Snyder Stadium 49-14. The Dalers first possession, they would score on a 14 yard run by Tom Kennedy with 7:21 left in the first quarter to go up 7-0. On defense Joe Lee would of had a great tackle, but he riped the ball out of the Jets running backs hands for a 35 yard touchdown, giving the Dalers an 14-0 lead. Dalers Quarterback Vinny Quinn would then pitch the ball to running back Curtis Jenkins on an option play, and Curtis took it 54 yards for a touchdown. And to end the first quarter QB Vinny Quinn would run it in for a yard after a 44 yard run for a touchdown. The Dalers would score 28 points in seven minutes and twenty-one seconds. The Dalers would take a 35-0 lead before the Jets scored, and finish the first half 42-7. The Dalers Defense would continue to hold off the Jets, and just giving up one more score. The Dalers would finish the regular season 8-0, undefeated this year. The Quarterfinals of the Nassau County Conference 1 playoffs will be this weekend. The Dalers will play at home either Friday night or Saturday afternoon.
