A hip new store opened on 415 Plandome Road called ivivva.
The store is a part of the lululemon athletica chain but serves the up-and-coming generation. Ivivva was created in 2009, specializing activewear for girls age four to fourteen. This is its first outlet on Long Island. Showroom Manager Gina Bethany, who has been with lululemon for five years, is excited to be opening the store in Manhasset. Bethany and her assistant manager have been going to schools around the area to promote the store’s opening.
DJ Nick Bohme set the scene at the grand opening party held at the new store on Friday, with Go Greenley Frozen Yogurt and smoothies to take the edge of anyone’s hunger. Pretty white, lavender and light blue balloons brought attention to the newly refinished exterior, which encompasses the nearby cleaners, shoe repair and a soon-to-open Ginos pizzeria, and is still under construction.
Ivivva clothes are designed with input from athletes in local communities like Manhasset so they know what athletes need to be a top performer. The brand aims to supply active girls, who have indicated they want gear that is as committed to high performance as they are.
