The Carle Place Civic Association recently recognized the fifth and sixth grade Our Lady Of Hope CYO basketball teams. Both teams recently earned the title of Long Island B Division Champions.
The fifth grade team is comprised of Erin Leary, Lea Iglesias, Abby Chiappone, Karina Mogavero, Ashley Hommel, Elizabeth Hommel and Kayla Steckler, and is coached by Patrick and Karin Leary and Eric Mogavero.
The sixth grade team is made up of Emiline Biggin, Emma Beattie, Brielle Johns, Gianna Raccolin, Trinity Reed, Julia Stabile, Julia Pascarella, Loren Panno, Carly Perruzza and Samantha Wagner. Sixth grade head coach is Rob Reed and assistant coach is Nick Biggin.
