Huntington Station Man Found Dead After Fight on His Lawn

A 38-year-old man was found dead in front of his Huntington Station home following a fight early Saturday morning, Suffolk County police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call of a disturbance on Wyman Street and upon arrival, they found Larry Collins on his lawn with injuries to his abdomen following a physical altercation at 4:25 a.m.

The victim was taken to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Homicide Squad detectives are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information on this incident is asked to call them at 631-852-6392 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
