Riverside Driver Killed in Crash

A 76-year-old woman died after crashing her vehicle in her hometown of Riverside on Tuesday afternoon.

New York State police said Saundra Highland was driving a Ford southbound on Nugent Drive when it drifted into the center median and struck a tree at 3:24 p.m.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

State police ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call them at 631-208-9002.
