Congratulations to Westbury’s Johnny Schmück and Jenney Tesoriero, each of whom won an age group award in the 11th annual Heart & Sole 5 Kilometer Run held on the streets of Plainview recently.
11-year-old Schmück crossed the finish line in 23 minutes, 1 seconds, scoring first in the 12 and under age group, a minute and a half in front of his nearest age group competitor. 43-year-old Tesoriero crossed the finish line in 23 minutes, 15 seconds to earn the second place award in the women’s 40-44 age group.
