Nesconset Man Killed in Car Crash

A 35-year-old Nesconset man was killed when he crashed his car into a utility pole in Garden City over the weekend.

Brett Dinsky was driving his BMW southbound on Franklin Avenue when he struck a telephone pole at the corner of Second Street at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, police said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Third Squad detectives impounded the car and believe that speed was a factor.
