Holbrook Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

A 27-year-old Holbrook man was killed when he crashed his motorcycle in Patchogue on Tuesday afternoon.

Suffolk County police said Michael Frustaci was riding a Yamaha eastbound on Sunrise Highway when he lost control and rear-ended a Toyota minivan at the North Ocean Avenue exit at 3:40 p.m.

Frustaci was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he died of his injuries. The woman driving the Toyota was not injured.

Fifth Squad detectives impounded both vehicles and are continuing the investigation.
