The Nick Tangorra Band, made up of brothers Nick and Rafe Tangorra on vocals and drums, respectively, and Will Ahrens on guitar, presented the Brookville Center for Children’s Services with a $10,000 check with funds raised from Rock Out Autism, a benefit concert held each April.

“We are so appreciative of these musicians and their efforts over the years,” said Brookville Center Autism Program Supervisor Sherry Black. “Not only do they come here to entertain, but they provide us with funds that we need to grow and develop.”

Founded in 2008 by Rafe Tangorra and Gina Cardino, Rock Out Autism is a non-for-profit foundation that raises money and awareness for the importance of autism services and peer mentorship through their special concerts showcasing local talent.

“This foundation provides funds for services that these children need now such as speech therapy, peer mentorship and music therapy which all allow for the betterment of the children,” said Rafe.
