The Major Offense Squad and Robbery Squad reports the details of a bank robbery that occurred on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 1:50 p.m. in Westbury.
According to Detectives, a male suspect entered the Bethpage Federal Credit Union located at 750 Old Country Road and presented a demand note to a teller. After obtaining an undetermined amount of U.S. currency the suspect fled on foot southbound on Westbury Drive. There were six employees and three customers present in the bank at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
