The holiday season is well underway and there’s no better place to be than the scenic village of Roslyn. Both the Roslyn Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Roslyn are at the forefront of making this year a most memorable and profitable season.
Last week, chamber members and village officials celebrated with a tree lighting ceremony at the Ellen E. Ward Clock Tower, welcoming shoppers to downtown Roslyn. They also lit up a “lighting swag,” strung out from one end of Old Northern Boulevard to another. The village has also put up holiday lighting at the park on East Broadway, which overlooks Old Northern Boulevard. The chamber paid for the holiday swag and they hope to add on to it each year until all of Old Northern Boulevard is decorated with the welcoming banner.
