Holiday Garbage Schedule

Village of Mineola offices will close at noon on Wednesday Dec. 24 and all day on Thursday Dec. 25 for the observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. If your normal sanitation collection days are Monday and Thursday, your garbage will be collected on Monday and Wednesday. If your normal collection days are Tuesday and Friday, your collection schedule will remain unchanged.

Yard waste, recycling, and rubbish collection will remain unchanged. Rubbish may be placed at the curb on either garbage collection day. Newspaper collection will be on Friday Dec. 26.

No refuse should be placed at the curb over the holidays because it may become loose and litter our streets.
