Saturday, Feb. 14
The Floral Park Women’s Club will hold their annual Valentine Victorian Tea on Saturday, Feb. 14 at St. Elisabeth’s Church on Harvard St. in Floral Park. Three seatings: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Enjoy an assortment of tea sandwiches, breads and dessert. Donation is $20 per person. Our Times Coffeehouse, at 38 Old Country Rd. in Garden City presents Gathering Time’s WinterFolk, a program of special songs for the snow season on Friday, Feb. 20 at 8 p.m. The group will perform both original and traditional songs, as well as seldom-covered songs by Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell, Fairport Convention and others. Open to the public.

The meeting of the Floral Park League of Mercy Hospital will take place on Monday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m. at the Floral Park Recreation Center. The guest speaker will be David Slomenhast, L.C.S.W., PHD., director of behavioral studies at Mercy Medical Center who will speak on stress management, a subject beneficial to all ages.
