Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel announced that she has obtained a state grant for the Manhasset Post 304 American Legion to undertake a beautification project along Plandome Road in Manhasset.
“American flags will be proudly waving from the lampposts all along Plandome Road. I am pleased that we were able to assist Commander Matthew Falcone and the Post with their goal of beautifying Plandome Road,” said Assemblywoman Schimel.
“Michelle is very good to the veterans throughout Nassau County. She is dedicated and never stops working. Thanks to her efforts we will have flags placed along Plandome Road,” said Matthew Falcone, Post Commander.
Donations are requested for the Sponsor a Flag maintenance campaign. Thomas Buzzita, Sergeant-at-Arms, is managing the Sponsor A Flag Campaign project.

An honor roll of supporters will be published for Memorial Day 2015.
