Roslyn resident Bernice Faegenburg continues to have her artwork exhibited throughout the New York City area.
From Tuesday, April 28 to Saturday, May 16, Faegenburg will have an exhibit, “Oriental Brush Painting” at Viridian Artists, Inc., 548 W. 28th St., in New York City. The gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 6 p.m.
On Thursday, May 7, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., there will be a reception for Faegenburg at the gallery.
In a recent interview, Faegenburg said that brush painting “has permeated all of my work.” Her studios in Roslyn and East Hampton, the article noted, is full of brush paintings. Art lovers will have an entire month to view the fruits of those labors.
