DeRosa Foundation Rides At Soul Cycle

The DeRosa Foundation’s call to raise awareness for colon cancer was heard loud and clear at SoulCycle Studio in Woodbury in March in honor of Colon Cancer Awareness Month. The goal is to shed some light on the importance of knowing the symptoms and facts on colon cancer. Guests were treated to refreshments, snacks, fabulous gift bags and door prizes. Sofia Mantekas donated fabulous gift bags to each participant. Michael Weber from Links of London donated bracelet and necklace door prizes. SoulCycle instructor, Mark Forkos, motivated the minds and bodies of the DeRosa Foundation supporters and riders. Forkos energized the entire room and inspired everyone to find their inner “rockstar.” The event was sold out and all proclaimed that the event was as informative as it was exhilarating and physically challenging.
The Charity Ride also celebrated another milestone event—a beloved friend of The De Rosa Foundation and colon cancer survivor, Evangelia Cyprus, marked her two-year post surgery anniversary.
Plans are in the works for another charity ride event in the near future. Details to be announced in the near future and all will be invited to find their “inner soul” while supporting a worthy cause.
