Seven members from the junior fire department attended recently the Night on the Town at the Jericho Terrace. The committee of the event had been asking the junior fire department to hand out posters the last few years. The MJFD went through town to all the businesses to display the posters in their store fronts.
The top seven members that handled out the posters were awarded the chance to come to this gala event which this year honored Nassau County Executive Ed Magano and David Mammina. With the number of food stations there wasn’t a person who went home hungry. It was a splendid evening with all the proceeds to the benefit of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The event was sponsored by The United Mavericks.
