Center Moriches Woman Killed in Crash

A 26-year-old woman was killed when she crashed her car in her hometown of Center Moriches over the weekend.

Suffolk County police said Erin Reed was driving her Nissan Altima southbound on Wading River Road when her car left the roadway and struck a tree at 8:15 a.m. Saturday.

The victim was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where she was pronounced dead.

Seventh Squad detectives impounded the car, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information on the crash to call them at 631-852-8752.
