Nearly all of Massapequa showed its support on Oct. 17, as the high school celebrated another successful homecoming.
Pride reigned throughout the blue and gold parade route as the band, student clubs, Chiefettes kickline, cheerleaders, members of the Marine Corps and Board of Education as well as the homecoming court marched down community streets to the high school on Merrick Road.
Students and faculty crowned Christian Bounamassa and Olivia Smithwick as the king and queen for the class of 2016.
To end a great day, the Chiefs shut out Uniondale in the football game with an impressive score of 35-0.
